If more than one person needs the use of a stairlift, but have different requirements, then an Acorn Superglide Sit/stand Stairlift is the solution to your problems with the stairs.

 

The Acorn Sit/Stand Stairlift is the perfect choice when one person is able to sit safely when using a stairlift; and the other has difficulty bending their knees. With all of the same features and options as the Acorn 120 Straight Stairlift, this model gives the user the option to either sit or stand in comfort and safety.

Optional Extra - Hinged Rail

The lower section of the rail folds up and out of the way when not in use, allowing greater access at the foot of the stairs.

 

The option of a hinged rail is ideal when there may be a doorway near the foot of the stairs. When the stairlift is not is use, the rail is neatly out of the way and causes no obstruction. A powered hinge is also available.
